Gottlieb Emergency Support Grant
For painters, printmakers, and sculptors who have been creating mature art for at least 10 years, and have recently undergone an unforeseen catastrophic event such as a fire, flood, or medical emergency. There are no deadlines for this program.
Tree of Life Individual Artist Grant
Tree of Life welcomes applications from artists of recognizable artistic merit, age 60 and over. Applicants must be permanent residents of the United States; applicants must work in visual media, which may include painting, sculpture, installation, works on paper, printmaking, photography, video, film, digital, or performance art; applicants must have a specific project that they wish to pursue; and applicants must have demonstrable financial need.

1. Incurred significant medical expenses related to treatment and recovery from Covid-19
AND/OR
2. Experienced a recent, career threatening emergency, such as an illness, accident, fire or natural disaster
*Due to the high demand for emergency relief assistance and limited funding, cases based solely on economic losses due to Covid-19 are not eligible
The Rauschenberg Emergency Grant
This program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need* who are practicing in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography.*
* Average adjusted income for the last 2 years, no greater than $75,000
** Chronic diseases broadly defined as conditions that last 1 year or more, and require ongoing mental, dental or mental health attention or limit activities of daily living or both.
The Artists' Fellowship, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) private charitable foundation that financially assists professional visual artists and their families in times of emergency, disability or bereavement. Assistance is given without expectation of repayment. One does not need to be a member of the Fellowship to receive assistance nor does membership in the Artists' Fellowship entitle one to assistance from the foundation.
